Est. 1864

skirt: T.J. Maxx (similar) / shirt: Nordstrom (love this one) / peplum blazer: similar / necklace: love this one (on sale!) / shoes: Zara

I have relocated to a suburb of Chicago!  We are loving it here so far, although I really miss Allison and Philadelphia.  This old church is close to where we live and dates back to 1864.  Isn’t it spectacular?  I built this outfit around my new gold skirt.  I paired it with all black to create a sleek look and to let the skirt stand out.  This necklace was a perfect addition since it is plain enough to not steal the stage, but just flashy enough to make sure the shirt isn’t boring.

Happy Weekend!

I really like the black with the gold skirt. The gold of the necklace really stands out against the black top and looks great!

  6. Your skirt is beautiful! I cannot even believe that you found that at TJ Maxx.
